Chicken burger anyone?

If you really have taken refuge in the Dharma, there’s no room for laziness. If you REALLY believe in your Buddha potential, you would never harm others. If you truly believe in reincarnation, you would NEVER EAT MEAT. Why eat your mothers? If you want to start on the road of true conviction in reincarnation, start with not eating meat immediately. Eating meat and meditation on the kindness of mother sentient beings to gain compassion doesn’t work. Without compassion there’s no enlightenment. By eating meat, there’s no compassion. Get ready to stay in samsara!

If you think samsara is a pleasurable place to stay, either go for an intense lam rim retreat or get some Prozac. How can you have a hamburger before or after going to the Dharma centre?? Be real please. Gee… KFC and actualizing Bodhicitta somehow just doesn’t match at all?

Solution: STOP EATING MEAT.

If you really enjoy eating dead animal corpses, maybe you should go and see how they have been slaughtered. No animal jumps into the frying pan for you to eat. Someone has to murder them and when that happens, there’s serious black karma. Each time you eat meat and enjoy it, remember you are eating your mother from a previous life. Hey mom, what’s for dinner?!

What’s the best way to slowly stop eating meat?? Very quickly!

You want attainments, stop eating meat.

Eating meat is absolutely not delicious if you are serious with your practice of Dharma. How can you have meat digesting in your gut while attending a Dharma class? How can you have meat digesting in your gut while you do your meditations on compassion or your yidam? If you do the practice of Avalokiteshvara, how can your body contain rotting animal flesh that you ate?  If your energy for meditation is being derived from digesting animal flesh, then it is contradictory.

Death meditation should be adopted.
Death to animals for your consumption should be abandoned.

Start the day with Bodhicitta motivation, live the day with it and end with Bodhicitta dedications. Then your day has been meaningful. Migtsema mantras are supreme for helping to cultivate compassion, great wisdom and protection. Blessing animals by reciting Medicine Buddha/Tara mantras then blowing on them is very helpful. Please do so.

Cooked meat, raw meat, any meat is bad karma. What’s gross is eating meat and then talking about compassion, love, forgiveness, and peace to the world!! How can anyone be sick enough to chop up, cook and eat your mom?? Well that’s what you’re doing by eating meat. Get ready to stay in samsara!
